The Junior Engineer is assigned to a project and is responsible for generating documents and deliverables in compliance with the technical project requirements assigned by the Static Equipment Head of Department or by the Static Equipment Project Leader, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery.

The Junior Engineer reports to the Senior Engineer regarding project specifics, while the Senior Engineer reports to the Static Equipment Head of Department for man-hours and quality of deliverables.

Key Activities & Responsibilities: Ensure the quality of mechanical calculations for pressure equipment (vessels, columns, and heat exchangers) and their compliance with contractual and company standards, procedures, and work instructions. Conduct technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues across the Tecnimont Group for new design techniques. Review engineering drawings and relevant mechanical calculations for pressure equipment supplied by manufacturers. Coordinate the activities of drafting engineers responsible for preparing engineering drawings for static equipment and communicate necessary information to the Static Equipment Project Leader. Assist in the preparation, updating, and editing of internal norms and standards. Compile and issue summary sheets of loads acting on supports, fireproofing, insulation, painting, and auxiliary structure weights of static apparatuses. Participate in critical phases of construction and testing for significant apparatuses when required. Personal Attributes: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within engineering companies or manufacturers of static equipment. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Willingness to travel for short periods in Italy and abroad.
