As Static Equipment Engineer, you will join our Department/Function Mechanical Equipment Engineering, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting the following activities:Perform technical tasks assigned by the Static Equipment Lead, related to design, verification or study activities of Storage Tanks, Air Coolers, Reactors, Columns, Vessels and Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers;Co-ordinate some technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem (i. e.

Review Client technical documentation and requirements, Control subcontracted discipline engineering documents;)Perform the follow up of supplies with the selected Vendor after the Purchase Order award;Perform the estimation of each item (weight/cost);Prepare detail engineering documentation in compliance with the process requirements and technical specifications (equipment mechanical data sheets, etc.

);Optimise the technical solutions ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance. QUALIFICATION: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldKNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: Professional English LevelLABOUR RELATIONSHIP: Permanent contractYEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Proven experience (at least 5 years) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies;IT SKILLS: Focus on static equipment (mainly on Columns and Vessels) and familiarity with PC software for Office Automation and Software for Mechanical Equipment Design (i. e.

PV Elite, Compress, or similar). SOFT SKILLS: Excellent problem-solving, effective communication and teamwork skills. MOBILITY: Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 Month) and to be relocated abroad in both International Saipem Engineering Centers and/or in Construction Site for a minimum of a year.
