WHAT YOU WILL DO The Stock Controller will join our team reporting to the Store Manager.
You willcheck incoming and outgoing goods, manage the inventory and needs of the boutique stockroom.
Duties and Responsibilities Set the example of operation excellence by following policies & procedures, while elevating the standards through usage of the proper tools & equipmentResponsible for a clean and organized maintenance of all inventories in the stockroom and on the selling floorSupport the sales team with several tasks such as running sizes, assisting at the cash register, advising on size and stock availability and other support related tasksDemonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication and teamwork when interacting with coworkers, clients and managementMaintain appropriate stock levels and ensure that all sizes and styles are represented accuratelyCommunicate product stock level and product quality issues to the Management team when necessary to avoid shrinkPerform all shipping/receiving tasks in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner: check the goods by verifying the quantity and quality of the packagesPrepare accompanying documentation for uniforms etc.
upon authorization from the Management teamComply with all company fire, health, and safety regulationsMonitor all store supply levels such as packaging, beverages, office supplies, etc.
and communicate order needs in a timely manner to managementPrepare, organize and participate in inventories and analysis of resultsSet the example of operation excellence by following policies and procedures, while elevating the standards through usage of the proper tools and equipmentYOU'LL NEED TO HAVE Previous experience of at least 2 years in a stock position, preferably in the retail environmentVery organized, rigorous and reliableComputer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel and emailWE'D LOVE TO SEE An entrepreneur with the ability to drive resultsA positive, outgoing, high-energy personality able to thrive within a high paced environment and ability to multi-task with ease while maintaining a balance of daily responsibilitiesGreat communication skills, ability to work with sales teams and liaise with corporateService-oriented, proactive to propose improvements and support other team members
