The Store Manager plays a critical role in overseeing all aspects of store operations, with a strong focus on building and leading a high-performing team to achieve business excellence.
This role is responsible for meeting operational budgets and implementing a proactive business strategy.
Key Responsibilities: People Management: Inspire, mentor, and guide the team to deliver exceptional performance and accountability. Recruit, train, and continuously develop team members to reach their full potential. Foster retention through actionable talent development and succession planning. Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address HR-related matters in collaboration with the HR team. Operations: Partner with retail stakeholders to align sales strategies, enhance product knowledge, and uphold brand standards. Exemplify company values and behaviors, ensuring the team operates with consistency and excellence. Customer Service: Lead the team in delivering outstanding customer experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business. Utilize clienteling tools effectively, maintaining a robust client database to increase sales. Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, coaching the team in resolving customer concerns, and hosting local events to drive revenue. Build and maintain productive relationships with corporate teams, mall management, and retail partners to elevate district performance. Sales: Consistently exceed sales targets by holding the team accountable and using data insights to inform action plans. Collaborate on quarterly planning sessions with the team to set and achieve meaningful goals. Clearly communicate business performance, establish individual sales objectives, and ensure team alignment. Operations Management: Oversee store maintenance, audits, and inventory control to meet brand standards. Optimize team schedules, manage expenses effectively, and focus on loss prevention initiatives. Partner on visual merchandising, logistics, and product assortment to ensure size and style availability. Leverage internal communication tools to keep the team informed and aligned on updates and tasks. Job Requirements: Proven experience in retail management within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Inspirational leadership abilities and technological expertise to support sales growth. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.
