Plans, manages, and directs retail store operations dealing with merchandising, selling, stocking, promoting and reordering of goods, financials, and personnel.

As a volume-based position, grading is dependent on maintaining sales in accordance with published volume standards.

Plan, coordinate, supervise, and oversee all aspects of store and annexed retail operations.

Manage product display, pricing, and sale of merchandise.

Ensure proper merchandise control, storage, and financial oversight, including accounting and cash handling.

Enforce safety, security, and sanitation regulations.

Determine staffing needs based on established service requirements.

Assign tasks to supervisory personnel and ensure proper delegation of responsibilities.

Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and enforce disciplinary actions as necessary.

Approve leave requests and initiate personnel actions.

Conduct and oversee on(1)the-job training programs.

Ensure a well-maintained sales floor, including personnel appearance and facility standards.

Oversee merchandise availability, display, pricing, and quality.

Supervise customer service interactions, return/exchange approvals, and complaint resolution.

Manage promotional sales events, store decorations, and customer convenience services.

Implement periodic inventory checks and maintain requisitioning procedures.

Ensure efficient stock replenishment and vendor coordination.

Maintain records related to merchandise procurement and control.

Supervise stockroom operations, including receiving, pricing, storing, and issuing merchandise.

Implement and manage price changes across the store.

Maintain accountability for cash, fixed assets, and inventory.

Certify financial reports for accuracy and oversee cash handling and deposits.

Establish and monitor internal control procedures for financial security.

Monitor and analyze cost records and budget performance.

Evaluate sales-to-stock ratios, markdowns, and supply consumption for process improvement.

Identify and explain deviations from budgeted figures.

Initiate repairs for equipment and fixtures.

Recommend and implement store layout changes and facility renovations.

Stay informed on and implement relevant public laws, executive orders, and directives.

Promote and uphold federal EEO policies within the store.

10.

Ensure adequate staffing levels for both selling and support areas.

Maintain high service standards and keep necessary operational records.

Monitor floor operations to ensure appropriate customer-to-employee ratios.

11.

Actively promote the military star credit card, exchange protection plan, and other corporate programs.

Foster customer engagement and brand loyalty through sales initiatives.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualification requirements**:

Three years of retail management experience within the last five years.

Or bachelor's degree and one year of retail management experience within the last five years

Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
