Store Planning Director
Position**:
**MISSION
The Store Planning Director will lead the Store Planning team, coordinating the different projects and activities related to the stores network development, from the design stage to the project completion, ensuring that all appropriate parties involved are fully briefed and have received accurate, up to date and timely information at all stages of the project, according to schedule, key milestones and deadlines.
**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate all the Store Planning team projects, according to the company plan (Temple, Flaghship, New Opening / Renovation, wholesale distribution network, overseeing all progress steps until shop opening, preparing project schedule with key milestones, ensure the project runs to schedule working with local technical specialist partners.
- Work with Budget & Planning on the Recco calendar and meetings preparations, sharing construction budget with Financial & Administration and commercial team.
- Work with Budget & Planning on the investment plan verification with Financial & Administration/Managing Directors/Commercial Team
- Build strong relationships with all the different geographical regions and acquire in depth knowledge of the specific characteristics of the market, from a technical (e. g.
permit lead times, local norms) cultural, retail/wholesale point of view.
- Build and nourish relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and maintain constant integration with Store Design, Budget and Planning, Sustainability and Visual teams to adjust the implementation, give feedbacks for concept improvement and work together on costs analysis and reduction.
- Responsible for worldwide layout and design approval process with the Architecture Director, Design team, Country Managing Directors and Top Management.
- Supervision of approval of the security plan in advance with corporate risk department.
- Verification Project Status Recap and follow up with monthly conference calls with Country Managing Directors.
- Global coordination on special roll out projects (see examples of lining, accessories, perfume, lighting, etc. . )
- Responsible for project management and construction fluid sharing of info, process/organization and strategy alignment.
- Supervise legal and administrative aspects of the different projects.
**Profile**:
**REQUIREMENTS
- +10 years of experience within the same field, in the Luxury industry
- Degree in Architecture or similar
- Strong experience and interest in retail business development
- Knowledge in Store Design and Engineering,
- Solid network with suppliers and architecture studios
- Solid experience in people management
- Fluency in Italian and English, any additional language is a plus
- Proficiency in IT Applications (Office, AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc.
)
- Knowledge of Bulgari commercial network
- Knowledge of design and architecture principles and tools
- Technical background, attention to details for engineering, prototypes and new materials research
- Project management and planning techniques
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
