PORPOUSE OF THE JOB:

To lead, develop and inspire the VM's team creating exciting range presentation solutions that provide an easy and convenient shopping experience and increase vitality thereby contributing to positioning the IKEA brand in the local market as the home furnishing specialist and the IKEA store as an up-to-date and innovative destination that always offers something new

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:

- Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market

- Providing home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products to improve people's life at home

- Securing the use of the store layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement commercial strategies throughout the store while creating a good overview and strong visual impact

- Recruiting, developing and leading your team

- Providing active support in developing the department action plan using layout as a commercial tool as well as range presentation and vitality initiatives that are focused on growing the business and supporting long-term profitability and execute agreed plans together with the designers team and other functions

- Acting to exploit commercial opportunities and ensure the Visual Merchandising colleagues understand the impact of designs team actions on the financial result
