**Your responsibilities**:

- You will carry out the entire procurement process such as inquiries, negotiations and auctions with suppliers of your material group and you will be responsible for clarifying technical and commercial contractual conditions.

- You will also identify efficient and cost-effective global sources of supply.

- The further development of existing partnerships, taking into account the specified quality standards is part of your responsibility.

- You develop, process and create framework agreements on a local and global level.

- You will build up and manage a global purchasing network for the related material group of electrical and instrumentation material.

To this end, you will coordinate strategic measures and awards with the global purchasing teams.

- In your position you will lead the development of strategic, cross-discipline improvement measures to realize saving potentials and reduce supply chain risks through global purchasing volume management, cost structure and risk analyses, the use of commercial, technical and process levers as well as sustainable supplier management.

- You handle contract disruptions as well as claim discussions with suppliers.

- You develop, process, create and manage framework agreements on a local and global level and support the further development of company-wide framework agreements.

**Your profile**:

- You have a strong professional experience as purchasing specialist or purchasing and logistics specialist, ideally in the purchasing of E&I equipment as well as in plant construction or series production business.

- Due to the internationality of our project and supplier base, you have very good English skills (spoken and written), German knowledge would be an advantage.

- You have the ability to present complex issues in a simple and understandable way.

- In addition, you bring a self-reliant and results-oriented way of working as well as a strong analytical thinking, negotiating skills and persuasiveness.

- You are willing to travel occasionally in Europe and around the globe.
