**Your responsibilities and tasks**:

Responsibilities / Tasks

- Define, in according with the management, the strategic and operational activities and works closely with global category managers of respective category and project procurement managers implementing the category strategy and linking it into the business;

- Purchase electrical components according to technical specifications;

- Realizes cost saving, controls spend and drives demand reduction;

- Research of new technologies, materials at the request of other company departments (technical office, R&D and production office);

- Ensures compliance with procurement process, policies and other statutory requirements within category

- Management of suppliers in terms of definition, negotiation and stipulation of contracts;

- Complete management of work: from the order to the arrival of the materials;

**Your profile and qualifications**:

Experience and Skills Required:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Management or Equivalent (plus Electrical engineering)

- Experience in procurement processes and the role of at least 5 years preferably in structured contexts of companies in the plant engineering sector;

- Consolidated expertise in both technical and negotiation, structured approach to solving problems;

- Excellent negotiating skills and time management;

- Spirit of initiative, decision-making autonomy and analytical skills;

- Excellent knowledge of the English language as written and spoken:

- ERP SAP Knowledge will be considered a plus
