HIRES Job Title: Strategic GKA ManagerReports to: Senior Director, Global Key AccountsLocation: Italy, Resana (TV) - Head QuarterJob Family: SalesScope of responsibility: Global Purpose (Objective): This position develops and defines growth opportunities with assigned Strategic Accounts. This position also has the responsibility to increase strategic control of these accounts with regards to managing customer relationships, business opportunities, high-level negotiations and offers, account development with new services beyond analytical services, network organization, project coordination /facilitation and resource planning.
Main activities: Define and drive the global strategy for the assigned strategic accounts by understanding the customer environment and strategic orientations (organization, decision making, needs and opportunities, etc. ) in order to build solid and sustainable foundationsIdentify the Business opportunities and increase our revenues and profitability through offers and high-level negotiations preparation and leading including plans that maximize the use of MxNs solutions with each account. Define systems, structures and processes necessary to make MxNs a Premier partner for assigned Strategic Accounts and win Global contracts (i. e. homogenization of processes, pricing, methods, customer service, …)Coordinate and support the relationship at all levels, whether technical or commercial, and foster discussions between the strategic account and the company leadership teamLead the co-development of solutions to meet the strategic account's strategy involving both customers and MxNs' subject matter experts. Supervise the deployment and delivery of solutions in collaboration with the Project Manager and follow up key indicators to communicate regularly on the partnership status. Communicate internally all information needed to ensure satisfaction of our key customersAttend tradeshows, congresses and act as an ambassador of Mérieux NutriSciencesManage database of relative information for Strategic Accounts:Ensure information is up-to-date and includes information collected from the network and directly through direct relationships with clients. Use CRM, and other appropriate tools, when available and/or maintain separate files to collect and organize data. Contribute to various missions aiming at improving our practices or facilitating our actions with strategic or global key accounts. This can include construction of offers; sharing of best practices or the deployment of other account strategies within the region/group. Perform other related duties as needed. At any time, the incumbent must be have and operate in an ethical and Code of Conduct compliant manner. A strong experience (10 years minimum) in Sales and Marketing BtoB acquired through an international environment facing clients and prospects. A successful commercial experience at players along the food chain (raw material and ingredients, innovation & renovation, packaging, food manufacturer)Already led long development and qualification cycles or led negotiations with the retail industry. A good knowledge of food-related subjects and/or laboratory and inspection services or at least in services to fully understand the complexity of the services provided by the company. Experience in food processing or quality assurance is recommended to identify the concerns and challenges of clients and potential clients. Required skills:
Solid negotiation skills, in a context of complex sales processes with a long term strategy. Experience working internationally to provide solutions to customers and prospects at an international level. Must have strong communication skills to build relationships within the company as well as with clients. Strong leadership skills to coordinate internal stakeholders over several countries of the company. Strong interpersonal skills and abilities to drive teamwork. Ability to take initiative to make suggestions regarding pricing, value added service opportunities and account management with accounts. Advanced English mandatory, another language would be a plus. Fluent in English/Italian, French will be preferential Work Environment: Incumbent must be able to enter a variety of workplace environments to gain clients. Travel can be about 40%.
