- Strategic Product & Sales Manager - Connector Manufacturer - EMEA
- A leading Electronic Connector Manufacturer is currently seeking an experienced Strategic Product & Sales Manager to join their international Sales team.
The role will be home & field-based and will require you to undertake international travel on occasions.
- **Requirements**:
- Experienced salesperson with a proven track record within the electronic component sector & Interconnect market
- High energy, driven individual that can utilise their own initiative and personality to build/maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Strong knowledge of the industry with the ability to establish new opportunities within the market wherever possible.
Especially in relation to the High Voltage & Power connectors & Telecom, E-mobility & Autonomous driving.
- Ability to develop long term relationships with new & existing customers
- Confidence to demonstrate products and convey an understanding of the products and technology
- Strong sales and marketing awareness
- Flexibility and eligibility to travel internationally
- Excellent negotiation skills
**Responsibilities**:
- Prioritise potential customers
- Arrange and lead customer product promotion visits
- Decision making: establish the "who, when, how" of the decision making process at the customer
- Sell your opportunities to the internal organisation and positively influence key functions to support your projects
- Lead the negotiation process, including contract discussions
- Secure design win nominations
- For significant projects with existing customers assist the Account Managers with product promotion at their customers
- Give structured feedback to the Product Marketing team on our roadmaps: to include positive feedback as well as areas for improvement, competitor information, and even new product suggestions
- Support the Medium Term Planning process with detailed information on opportunities you are currently working on
- Travel: willing to travel at least 50% of the time in order to effectively promote to new customers
- Attend exhibitions and trade shows
