Strategic Project Manager - Mrna Platform

You will join a newly established team responsible for cGMP mRNA-based drug production based at Monza, Italy.
As Strategic Project Manager you will lead the execution of strategic projects in support of the mRNA business.
You will lead the design and adherence to new business processes and ensures new systems & technologies support the business process.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the GM and Business leaders to define project scope and targets.
- Work with the various departments and functions to define workstream strategy for process improvements.
- Lead projects for new product / service introductions via the Stage Gate process.
- Define team structure and management operating system, including selection of a steering committee.
- Develop and gain approval from steering committee for schedule, budget and resource plan, and changes to the plan as needed.
- Manage a team that may be global and cross-functional to deliver the project scope on time and in budget.
- Build and maintain program documentations including project charter, roadmap, and other project management tools in alignment with project management methodology (such as lessons learned, playbooks, and business process adherence reviews)
- Utilize risk identification and mitigation process on an ongoing basis and convey effectively to internal management.
- Define and track metrics; maintain unified Dashboards and report on global project/ program progress, often to different levels of leadership.
- Ensure that program outcomes meet quality, regulatory and legal standards.
- Work with Management, Finance, PPI and IT teams to support business program execution.
- Initiate the involvement of appropriate departments, maintaining continuous communication with those departments, and ensure the work delivered to interested parties is of a consistently high standard.
- Mine and coordinate team member assignments across constituent projects to overall benefit of program.
- Develop and implement a change strategy and communication plan, with global business leader / project sponsor.
- Develop and share standards to improve performance of the strategy deployment office.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Requires strong interpersonal, planning, verbal, written and numerical skills
- Effective presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers and interested parties.
- Experience of working collaboratively in global multi-function teams and ability to keep teams on task, gain consensus, aiming for resolution, and clarifying priorities.
- Ability to assess global situations to figure out importance, vitality and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization and the customer.
- Ability to overcomes obstacles and achieve key outcomes
- follows through to get things done and delivers what is promised across all sites and functions.
- 10-25% domestic travel.
Education/ Experience:
- Utilizes discernment and meaningful experience to assist in the definition and documentation of business/functional requirements (e. g.
financial knowledge is required if the transformation project is a financial initiative).
- Requires accredited college, university or recognized professional degree, preferably in a health-related field.
- Requires 3+ years of successful experience in project management, finance, operations or equivalent function
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Mastery of basic Project Management concepts from a recognized institution in project management, such as PMBOK
