Position Summary
What is your role? The Strategy and Corporate Development Executive Director, is a key member of the Motion Technologies leadership team as well as the global strategy team.
She/he will also be a critical growth enabler for ITT.
This individual will work closely with the value center, corporate functions and MT's leadership team to define MT strategy and drive MT growth initiatives, covering both organic and inorganic growth.
The position offers the unique opportunity to participate in high-level strategic decision-making and to shape the future of MT.
The role will report to the SVP, Strategy and Corporate Development and to the MT President.
Essential Responsibilities
Your day in the life in ITT as a Strategy and Corporate Development Executive Director Strategy and Business DevelopmentPartnering with the MT leaders in developing, maintaining and executing the business strategyIdentify organic growth opportunity, carry out the required analyses and assessment and lead project to implementationWorking to advancing strategic initiativesDriving MT annual strategic planning processMarket IntelligenceMonitoring peer/competitor activities and benchmarking ITT performanceCarry out specific market sizing / market share assessmentCorporate Venture CapitalSupport the central Corporate Venturing team in identifying opportunities to partner and support the growth of MT through collaboration and possibly investments in start ups (open innovation)M&A Supporting the development and execution of selective M&A opportunities for MTDeveloping a M&A pipeline for each business as applicableExecuting M&A projects in close collaboration with the corporate development team, including coordinating cross functional teams throughout the process. People Management:Acting as mentor and actively develop more junior team members in the global strategy team.

Strong influencing skills, ability to work as part of a team and work with different stakeholders and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlinesMBA requiredA minimum of 10 years' related experience with direct expertise in Strategy, Marketing or Business Development preferredHands on experience in implementing strategic initiative from inception/idea generation to executionIndustry background is open, with a preference for candidates with prior Automotive, Rail, Defense and Industrial exposure.
