We are currently looking for a Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team based in Rome.
The candidate's training will include learning the aspects of job management and coordination with suppliers and customers up to a complete all-round competence.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A STRESS ANALYSIS ENGINEER with the following characteristics: Identify various stress packages through examination of P&IDs and line designations.
Perform piping analysis for critical piping systems during the preliminary design and detailed design phase of the project.
Perform piping stress analysis for various equipment such as steam turbines, compressors, centrifugal pumps, tanks, exchangers, heaters, columns, etc.
Provide piping load information to Civil/Structure Solves high pipe loads on equipment nozzles and high secondary stresses in piping.
Selection of spring supports, shock absorbers, struts for pipe supports.
Locate and identify pipe supports on isometries and the type of support.
Review and approve pipe isometries taking into account flexibility and support Prepare complete stress analysis documentation and support design.
Participates in the review and control of designs, drawings and supplier data.
Understands the role played by other disciplines in the project.
Provides technical direction and assigns work to engineers, designers and drafters assisting with specific assignments.
Requirements at least 10 years of experience in oil and chemical plants static and dynamic analysis of critical lines knowledge and experience in using the cesar programme on projects involving plants such as refineries, FPSOs, hydrocracking, RFCCs or chemical plants verification of equipment loads, calculation of minimum frequency, support indications, identification of piping loads on structures stress analysis of piping and process lines
