We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer for coffee machine to join our Innovation & Development Department. The profile we are looking for will create new coffee machine products and designs, revamp existing models and offer installation support through technical documentation. What will you do:Fully understand customer requirements in terms of content, performance, quality, reliability, engineering standards, dimensional requirements and limitations, etc. Share and develop technical knowledge and skills combined with collaboration with our customersDevelop and verify the cost feasibility and reliability of mechanical product design using CAD toolsPrepare technical reports and presentationsProvide design support in the post-production phaseProvide guidance and technical support in resolving inter-departmental and customer issues as requiredPerform design activities to achieve cost effectiveness between quality, design and production in accordance with engineering and design standardsCreate and assist in the creation of material listsRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or similarMinimum 5 years of experience in product design, preferably within the electromechanical sector in the field of domestic appliances and/or coffee machines or similarGood knowledge of CAD/SolidWorks/PDM with related product lifecycle management (PLM) and MRO/ERP (data management) systemsExperience in CEI EN 60335-X standardsFamiliarity with R&D product development methodsSolution-oriented approach and excellent written and oral communication skillsFluency in Englishillycaffè as B-Corp is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace generating positive effects for the environment, for the community and for people.
