Structural Surveyor – Based Italy – Duration: Approx.

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Offshore Wind EPC business involved in the fabrication of an offshore HVDC station at a fabrication yard in Northeast Italy.

We require x 2 Structural Surveyors for a long-term contract position to oversee structural steel & welding elements of the project work scope.

We can only consider candidates with relevant right to work in the EU region.

Supervision Activities/Scope of Work To verify correct application of Project agreed proceduresSupervision of correct application of welding requirements (Weld parameters, WPS, preheating, etc.

)To verify design drawings and construction drawings in fabricationTo verify fabrications compliance as requested in different ITPsTo prepare and coordinate a weekly inspections planning (H, W, M)To monitor and cross NDT inspections performed (VI, UT, MPI, etc.

)To audit fabrication and quality process if requestedTo report all weekly progress in quality, also to check progress provided by SubcontractorConfirm documentation/work done prior to attending notified inspectionTo verify the qualification of welders and their correct use
