Structural Surveyor – Based Italy – Duration: Approx. 3 years We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Offshore Wind EPC business involved in the fabrication of an offshore HVDC station at a fabrication yard in Northeast Italy. We require x 2 Structural Surveyors for a long-term contract position to oversee structural steel & welding elements of the project work scope. We can only consider candidates with relevant right to work in the EU region. Supervision Activities/Scope of Work To verify correct application of Project agreed procedures Supervision of correct application of welding requirements (Weld parameters, WPS, preheating, etc. ) To verify design drawings and construction drawings in fabrication To verify fabrications compliance as requested in different ITPs To prepare and coordinate a weekly inspections planning (H, W, M) To monitor and cross NDT inspections performed (VI, UT, MPI, etc. ) To audit fabrication and quality process if requested To report all weekly progress in quality, also to check progress provided by Subcontractor Confirm documentation/work done prior to attending notified inspection To verify the qualification of welders and their correct use J-18808-Ljbffr
