Structural Surveyor – Based Italy – Duration: Approx.

3 yearsWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading Offshore Wind EPC business who will be involved in the fabrication of an offshore HVDC station at a fabrication yard in Northeast Italy. We require 2 Structural Surveyors for a long-term contract position to oversee structural steel & welding elements of the project work scope. We can only consider candidates with relevant right to work in the EU region. Supervision Activities/Scope of workTo verify correct application of Project agreed proceduresSupervision of correct application of welding requirements (Weld parameters, WPS, preheating, etc.

)To verify design drawings and construction drawings in fabricationTo verify fabrications compliance as requested in different ITPsTo prepare and coordinate a weekly inspections planning (H, W, M)To monitor and cross NDT inspections performed (VI, UT, MPI, etc.

)To audit fabrication and quality process if requestedTo report all weekly progress in quality, also to check progress provided by Subcontractor. Confirm documentation/work done prior to attend notified inspectionTo verify the qualification of welders and their correct use.
