If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a **Study Manager **, reporting directly to **Genesis Head of Country **to join our **Strategic Advisory **team based in **Italy **, **Rome **.

**About the Job

The purpose of this role is to lead and co-ordinate

assigned personnel to the assigned task to ensure satisfactory performance, implementing any necessary action to maintain the standard of work and performance.

To provide concept development and technical services ensuring quality standards of related deliverables providing unbiased, efficient, and constructible solutions.

This entails:

**Perform design calculations and assist in the performance of engineering and field development studies.

- Evaluation of alternative field development options;

- Running of proprietary software (e. g. Hysys. Process, Pipesim) or in-house developed software;

- Performing engineering calculations (e. g. equipment & line sizing);

- Conducting engineering studies into alternative gas and oil processing technologies;

- Production of technical notes for reporting of study results;

- Support preparation of Feasibility Study Proposal

- Managing market Study Consulting Companies

- Develop the final outcomes to Clients (reports, outlines written and oral presentations to Clients)

**Additionally, responsibilities may include**:

- Ensuring that the project scope of work, design basis, philosophies, standards and procedures including QA are known, understood and implemented by the discipline personnel assigned to the project.

- Direction and monitoring the execution of work with regard to content and quality of all documentation within the disciplines scope of work.

- Support in preparation of proposals / BD.

- Be willing to take the next step up and lead consulting studies

- Evaluate bids.

**About You

We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following requirements:

- Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS office software.

- Experience with Hysys Process;

- Analytical and judgmental skills to find and implement proactive solutions;

- Energy industry background;

- Knowledge of thermodynamic fluid properties & phase behaviour;

- Knowledge of designing utilities and support systems;

- Modelling and analysis of steady state for process plant;

- Ability to assess key uncertainties impacting production system development;

- Ability to prepare production systems design basis and specifications; Technical Knowledge in all disciplines to judge and deal with problems

Qualifications: Engineering Master Degree

Languages: English Fluent
