Job Description:Wood is recruiting for a Sub-Product Line Leader Syngas to join its Technology & Product (T&P) Group in Milan (Italy), the Centre of Expertise (COE) for several Wood's technologies.

The position will be based preferably in Corsico (Milan) office, but candidates located elsewhere will also be considered.

JOB OBJECTIVE Support all aspects of the assigned product line and technology portfolio, including R&D, business development, and customer support.

Direct and guide the growth, development, and delivery performance for the sub-product line, including the development and implementation of strategy and delivering related business plans.

Provide guidance and direction to management and support teams in the day-to-day management of delivery, ensuring appropriate controls and governance are in place.

Produce solutions to complex strategic, contractual, technical, commercial, operational, and personnel related challenges impacting customer service and performance.

Manage ongoing business, responsible for budget setting and delivery, contracts, capacity, resource management, and capability management.

Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with the capability to understand, interpret, and communicate deep technical issues with potential Clients.

Extensive track record of successful operational and strategic delivery within the relevant industry sector.

Broad and deep understanding of the industry with strong networking and relationship-building capability.

Experience in customer-facing communication.

Strong relevant technical expertise or commercial/business management applied in a technical organization.

Pragmatic in approach with a strong commercial bias and ability to balance commerciality with operational excellence.

Understanding of management systems.

Commitment to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to problems in a constructive and positive manner.

Entrepreneurial approach - ability to identify opportunities.

Flexible to respond in agile ways to changing customer needs.

Strong influencer, negotiator, and mediator.

Effective communication skills, particularly in writing clearly and concisely with impact and meaning.
