The candidate will ensure the implementation of all Product Assurance (PA) tasks for Mechanical, Pyrotechnic and Propulsion articles developed by System Suppliers (Sub-contractors) for space projects.

She/he will:

• Follow product development and relevant steps, such as Design Reviews until qualification

• Manage verifications associated to production, testing, product audits, quality verifications before delivery

• Manage escapes and Non-Conformances, related root causes and corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.

Ensuring proper visibility to Customer and Authorities

• Prepare and process KPIs for the relevant Supply Chain Quality processes

• Ensure compliance to project requirements or, as applicable, management of deviations

• Establish and maintain appropriate interface with subcontractor's quality representative for all relevant PA matters

• Supervise and direct product development and qualification for all relevant quality aspects

• Ensure that lessons learnt are formalized capitalized and promoted

• Coordinate the activities of the project quality team, ensuring that the PA requirements are properly flowed down at all subcontractors

• Participate in project meetings and reviews with subcontractors, providing quality contributions

• Exercise the duly alerts and the tight of vetoes according to the existing processes

• Ensure the continuous improvement processes are implemented
