Supervisor Participations Operations And Special Projects - Perm
Serve as key member of the Participation Operations team in the analysis, planning, coordination and execution of a variety of special projects involving ACBS and the Participations/Syndication Portfolio.
Related functions include Accounting and Servicing, Credit Administration support with ACBS, analysis of business needs related to technical changes and architectural improvements.
Extensive "cross system" and "cross function" related knowledge required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities Business Lead - Special Project RolesHighly technical roles in projects including utilization of ACBS system functionality.
Upgrades, Bank initiatives, District initiatives.
Outsourcing opportunities, regulatory changes, line of business expansions or integration related projects are areas of emphasis. Highly analytical in areas of functionality surrounding ACBS and its surrounding applications.
Serves as Team Leader for Participation Syndication Operations when assigned and additionally, designs and delegates assignments and tasks to others.
Represents the department, Finance division, lending, outsourcing customers or other partners on projects.
Analyzes related Applications and Systems related to the project initiative.
Adheres to project methodology according to established standards, handles change control, recovery procedures, and knowledge transfer to others accordingly.
Also involved in association related participations sold, system changes or upgrades.
Prepares or reviews procedures for FIM, GAO or newly assigned manuals resulting from project changes. Production Processes - Supervisor Role - Oversight and MonitoringOversees technical and architectural issues and resolutions for ACBS.
Oversees and Supervises Staff responsible for processing many ACA Purchased Participation and Capitalized Participation Pool. Continual commitment and emphasis on best practices and full automation for all processes, functions and systems or related entities involved in the Participations/Syndications portfolio.
Oversees processes and personnel related to the assigned portfolios.
Ensures accuracy for direct reports by reviewing integrity of data input by unit staff.
Identifies and tracks production errors and omissions.
As a Supervisor, performs reviews and handles management issues according to bank standards. Customer Support and TrainingSupports advanced requests or demonstrations surrounding the Bank's Participation Portfolio and ACBS - External sources include association operations related to Participations and Outside prospects or outsourcing customers.
Internal Support for lending department, Finance, general ledger, IMD and Audit needs related to Portfolio and ACBS. Timely response utilizing Remedy solution for Internal initiatives, offer advice and or solutions to inquiries or problems.
Train assigned resources with demo material.
Analyze, present approach methods for inquiries.
If SDLC is required for any related task follow guidelines - Communicate and coordinate effectively. Advanced Analysis and ReportingParticipates in analysis of requested portfolio reporting or outsourcing needs.
Directs others in report specification and questions.
Assists in ensuring when new reporting issues or standards are considered, quality of data delivered meets Units definitions.
Assists in Adhoc requests from various internal and external resources. Participate in reporting related tasks utilizing ACBS DataMart, Business Objects, and PeopleSoft ODS.
Extensive ACBS and other related database knowledge must be utilized in the design or execution of ad hoc requests and participates in review or Reporting changes or opportunities to use new tools. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field. Eight years of comparable work experience including supervisory experience. Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and organize various routine and special tasks. Requires knowledge of accounting, GAAP, Audit, Commercial Lending. Credit, Risk Management, Funding terminology - as related to customer/loan data and financial instrument servicing requirements. Advanced project management and project experience.
Expertise in system issues including automated origination, accounting and servicing systems, client-server applications, and mainframe applications including various programming languages.
Proficient with report writing tools. Thorough knowledge of all database technologies, Microsoft Office programs, Windows 2000 operating system as well as the installation setup and maintenance of various hardware devices and peripherals.
Proficient with report writers such as Crystal, Access, Business Objects and database management tools. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel.
Ability to deliver verbal presentations to a variety of audiences. Ability to work under extensive pressure and deadlines; supervisory experience.
