Solaris Biotechnology, a Donaldson brand under Life Science & Special Application that Designs and Manufactures Bioprocessing equipment, including Bioreactors, Fermenters, and Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems for R&D and production purposes.
We are currently looking for a Supervisor Project Management
The position will be based in Porto Mantovano, Italy.
The Supervisor Project Management oversees and directs production activities across multiple projects/jobs with a specific focus on strategies for operational plans including production planning and priorities, material procurement, inventory control, outsourcing and shipments to customers.
This role also involves conducting or managing strategic analyses, identifying, and developing opportunities for enhancing production efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and work effectively with team involved in activities, such as commercial, manufacturing, logistics, consultants, product suppliers and service providers for projects delivery
- Analyze current inventories and procedures; deploy improvements to increase efficiency of timelines and profitability
- Management of projects reports aligned to Financial team
- Responsibility to align and execute annual priorities for improving cost, timelines and quality in conjunction with manufacturing operations. This involves formulating practical plans to optimize material sourcing, production planning, product movement scheduling, inventory management, logistics, and meeting customer demands.
- Management of shipping documents and transports to Customers
- Ensure effective communication and updates with Customers
- Management of relevant master data (e. g. BOMS, routings, MRP settings) for existing and new materials on Oracle R12 system
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering with Project Management orientation
- 5+ years of operations, production and manufacturing experience
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role
Technical Competence & Skills:
- Experience in using Oracle R12 system
- Knowledge of MS Office packages and Outlook
- Knowledge of Incoterms and shipping instructions
- Italian and English fluent
- Flexibility, ability to multitask, to manage time and to adopt to changes
- Pro-active attitude and ability to take decisions
- Strong communications skills, self-motivated, self-starter
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer and quality focused
