You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Naval Supply Systems of NAVSUP FLC SIG GF. In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Providing contract support throughout the organization regarding contracting laws, regulations, principles and procedures. Lead efforts in provision of sourcing solutions and contracting support for assigned customers through standardization of business practices, partnering with customers and other stakeholders. Managing a staff of contracting professionals with the goal of developing solution-oriented decision makers who manage risk and provide contract support. Implementing acquisition reform initiatives to ensure acquisition best business practices and manage multi-year multi-million-dollar value service contracts. Resolving complex acquisitions and business problems that may have a long-range impact on the overall acquisition program.
