Supervisory Intelligence Specialist (Operations
Duties**:
- Supervise the planning efforts of the brigade operations plans, exercises (PLEX), Force management, and system integration section.
- Reviews service and Intelligence discipline planning documents and directives to ensure compliance with governing legal statutes and directives.
- Supports the 207th MIB - T participation via the Army Service Component Command (ASCC) in Joint Force Provider (JFP) activities and in Joint Staff directed Global Force Management processes.
- Represents the Brigade at meetings and conferences held at DOD, DA, other ASCCs, AFRICOM, embassies, other Services, and other Agencies.
- Provides supervision and operational direction to a staff of military and civilian multi-functional personnel.

- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- This is a KEY position and cannot be vacated during national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the command therefore, it has been designated as emergency essential. See Additional Information.
- Must file a statement of employment and financial interests as required by AR 600-50.
- Must file a Confidential Disclosure Report, Standard Form 450 within 30 days from occupancy and annually thereafter. See Additional Information.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartment-ed information (SCI).
- Temporary Duty (TDY) travel will be required 25% or less of the time.

- Priority Placement Program, DoD Retained Grade Preference Eligible- To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GG/GS-13 that prepared you to do this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience in planning, coordinating, developing and/or executing operations within Contingency Planning; AND experience in two of the following areas: Force Management, Strategic Capabilities Planning, National Security Strategy, or Long Range Planning Guidance. This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.
- Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
