You will serve as an OPERATIONAL PLANNER in the Strategy and Future Requirements Division of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Initiating and planning exercises and operations to ensure compliance with future requirements within the command;Leading the operational planning efforts to enable the success of the national military strategies and strategic maritime objectives of the command;Overseeing the planning of joint armed force employment across the spectrum of military operations;Utilizing knowledge of Combatant Command (COCOM), Operational Command (OPCON), Tactical Control (TACON), NATO, Joint Force Maritime Component Command (JFMCC), Service Component Command, and Senior Officer Present Ashore (SOPA) concepts to solve complex planning challenges.
