**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet KION targets (product, cost, quality, capacity, etc.

)**:

- **Drive improvement and support programs (e. g.

360°, values stream, 5s, lean methodologies, supplier scorecards, etc.

)**:

- **Track the supplier's KPI, based on scorecards and rankings, to facilitate and develop the supply base's ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations**:

- **Transform early warnings and risk evaluation into mitigation actions and programs**:

- **Manage continuous improvement programs for a dedicated supplier portfolio**:

- **Lead workshops at supplier site and elaborate n-TIER management**:

- **Lead a team of external consultants for supplier development programs and flexible and fast response activities**:

- **Lead task force initiatives (if required)**:

- **Participate on new supplier validation audits**:

- **Foster a cooperative supplier relationship management to ensure optimal performance**:

- **Strong collaboration with global sourcing department and site procurement**:

- **Strong collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders from other KION departments and stakeholders in Hamburg plant (i. e.

Q, L, R&D)**:

**Tasks and Qualifications**:

**Education and Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor or master in business, engineering or equivalent (preference is technical background)**:

- **5+ years of experience in industrial area, ideally in OEM, manufacturing or automotive sector**:

- **Experience in purchasing, engineering, logistics or quality are a benefit**:

- **Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills**:

- **Proficient decision making and analytical problem-solving skills**:

- **Experience in developing and implementing supplier improvement and qualification**:

- **Report and procedure elaboration with excellent presentation skills**:

- **Excellent skills with MS Office; SAP knowledge and MS Project preferred**:

- **Fluent English is mandatory (French or German is a plus)**:

- **Willing to travel (~50%)**:
