Your opportunity

The Supplier Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and supplier management for given categories of spend at global and/or local level.

His/her mission is to achieve commodity results and ensure compliance with Group strategy to drive overall performance & profitability for the Business.

Your Mission Develop and implement short and mid-term global commodity strategies for assigned spend categories, including strategic areas, notably by performing and consolidating analysis (spent, cost breakdown) and business continuity assessment.

Define the annual saving forecast by identifying risks and opportunities.

Be responsible for the tenders (RFQ) for the allocated commodities.

Negotiate contracts with global and local Suppliers, including lists, quality standards, prices, discount rates, duration, delivery timescales, and commercial terms and conditions.

Perform supplier base management activities by ensuring contracting tasks, financial risk assessment, non-quality cost recovery, supplier visits, and disengagement processes while managing supplier relationships at a global level, monitoring trends of KPIs and setting necessary corrective actions.

Actively interact with suppliers to drive productivity, meet quality requirements, and mitigate risks.

Manage escalated issues impacting execution.

Scout new suppliers to comply with the category strategy and lead the qualification process, developing a unique sustainable supplier base.

Perform analysis in assigned categories.

For relevant commodities (cost, strategic importance), monitor the market through constant benchmarking and/or cost breakdown analysis to continuously improve costs, quality, delivery, and technology; escalate in case of major non-conformity.

Perform business continuity assessment: financial risk including supplier dependency analysis and capacity assessment with dual source analysis.

Your Profile Education And Languages Education: Master's Degree in Engineering is preferred; Business or Economics is also accepted.

Excellent English is mandatory (written and spoken).

Fluency in French, Italian, and/or Chinese is an advantage.

Required Experience And Skills Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing in an international manufacturing company; experience in Indirect Services Sourcing is a plus.

Experience in international negotiation, contracting, and claim management.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills as key elements to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders at different hierarchical levels.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

); SAP knowledge is an advantage.

Experience outside of own country of origin is a plus.

Target-oriented, resilient, and able to work autonomously.
