For our Sales Company based in Piacenza, we are looking

for a supervisory and coordinator role for local logistics and supply chain operations.

Main activities

Purchasing into local Nilfisk Distribution Center

- Coordinate and fulfill purchase order creation into Italian stock

- Analyze current purchasing activities, re-evaluate and implement optimizations

Warehouse Management

- Become Teamleader for local warehousing team, currently consisting of 3 warehouse operators

- Understand all warehousing tasks and be backup of warehouse workers

- Re-visit current procedures and investigate improvement potentials

Stock Control

- Take over stock controller tasks in Italy

- Full awareness and accountability for stock reports, stock classification and development in Italy

- Support sales and service for inventory reduction measures

- Create and implement stock control procedures

Logistics Outbound

- Booking and follow-up of local transport management

- Relationship management and performance monitoring of local forwarders and carriers

- Monitor outbound logistics flows out of our major distribution centers to Italian customers

- Cooperate with Global Transport in investigation and optimization projects

- Ensure that transport booking is done correctly and optimally

Return Management

- Operational return management and support for improving related procedures

- Lead and manage with local warehouse team to ensure correct handling of returns upon arrival

- Ensure correct depiction of returns in SAP and inventory reports

Cooperation with Local Workshop and Service

- Establish close working relationship wiht workshop and service employees

- Understand service order flows and optimize purchasing for them

- Monitor flows in and out of workshop and work on improvement measures together with workshop

Facility management

In cooperation with the facility manager, provide operational support for activities such as waste management procedure, contracts with suppliers contracted for facilities maintenance

Skills needed:

- Fluent in Italian and English

- Previous experience (min.

3 years) in warehousing, logistics and/or purchasing

- Previous experience as a team leader of a team is a plus

- Good knowledge of MS-Office, mainly Excel

- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
