That's why we are building Cargoful, a cloud-based AI-driven SaaS company that wants to elevate supply chains to the level they should be at.
We are a small team of young and international professionals who want to change how supply chains are run, from the ground up.
We come from top companies and research centres (MIT, McKinsey, NASA, London Business School, Leonardo, Politecnico di Milano, Sant'Anna), we are backed by leading institutions from the Silicon Valley (Berkeley SkyDeck) and Italy (s2capital, B4i) and driven by a strong will to make things happen.
We are looking for individuals to join us in building the Supply Chain Tech of the future.
The role Cargoful is growing rapidly, we have developed new products, applied our solutions to multiple sectors and expanded rapidly, within and outside Italy.
Hence we are looking for a talented Supply Chain Engineer to join our team, in Milan.
As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will be actively involved in deploying our software, supporting during pre-sales activities, and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships through continuous support and consultancy to our customers.
In this role you will develop a deep technical expertise in supply chain technology and in our proprietary transportation planning software, which we design, develop, and distribute.
You will work as a dedicated consultant for specific accounts, guiding the adoption of the software at scale and helping designing the product development roadmap.
Examples of activities you will perform: Take full ownership of the project delivery, managing the end-to-end solution design and implementation from the kick-off to go live and beyond.
Perform the data analysis and data quality assessment on customer's data.
Map and assess processes and, when needed, write documentation on new developments and test new functionalities.
Configure, parametrise and test the solution on new customers, running scenarios and workflow tests.
Train on how to operate the software for final users.
Answer and solve advanced technical support questions as main point of contact.
Coordinate with developers, designers, testers, and other team members to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Monitor and own project progress, risks, issues, and roadblocks, with full accountability.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our product and project management methodologies and best practices.

We expect you to contribute to design how the company processes should look like in 2-5 years from now rather than adapting to rules.
Qualifications Experience: 3-5 years in Business Consulting, Supply Chain Planning or Software implementation.
Education: Master's Degree in Engineering, specialization in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
Tech knowledge: Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, preferred knowledge and training in databases (MySQL, SQL server), Python scripting, BI tools (Power BI, QuickSight).
Language: Fluent in Italian and English.
Set-up: hybrid, 3 days/week in presence in our Milan office (Porta Romana).
