Supply Chain Management : Supplier Logistic
Job Description The mission of the position is to interface with production, sales, purchasing and suppliers in order to schedule purchase orders of raw material to meet production demand.
Supplier SCM:Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activitiesMaintain responsibility for monitoring/creating purchase requisitions, on a daily basis, for appropriate vendors through SAP/MRP systemLead all aspects of production scheduling, working with manufacturing and business partners, raw material purchasingEnsure compliance with the companies Purchasing Policies and Procedures, Code of Ethics, Values and adherence to relevant laws and regulationsConfirm supplier delivery dates for purchasing material and expedite orders when necessaryContinuous improvement:Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase ordersApply relevant purchasing statutory and regulatory requirements in the country of receipt, the country of shipment and the customer-identified country of destination and ensure fulfillmentPerform supplier development, release and support in supplier auditing (including controlling and evaluation of supplier measures)Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activitiesInterface with production planner, purchasing and suppliers in order to schedule purchase orders of raw material to meet production demandSupporting and providing the coordination of the material planning, purchasing and production scheduling function to ensure timely delivery to customers of finished productsSuppliers management:Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communicationsEnsure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationshipsCompile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluationAssess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract complianceManage troubleshooting to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issuesIntegration:Familiarize with Corporation distribution and warehousing standardsFoster and maintain a positive work environmentEmbed Corporation set of behaviors and act as role modelQualificationsKnowledge fields:Products, systems and technologies (functionalities and applications) : BasicSupply Chain Management (including logistics policies, systems and processes) : AdvancedQuality management (including quality policies, systems and processes) : BasicLocal language & culture (intercultural sensitivity) : AdvancedProblem solving and decision making tools and techniques : AdvancedProject management skills, tools and techniques : BasicBusiness knowledge ( commercial conditions and influence on P&L) : BasicPurchasing policies, systems and processes : AdvancedSupplier management (including selection, negotiation, contracting and development) : AdvancedRelevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred3 years experience within a similar rolePprevious experience of working in a purchasing or supplly chain team preferably within automotive manufacturing environmentExperience of working closely with suppliersGood knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdownExperience in working with international teams plus understanding of foreign culturesProficient in minimum 2 languages, Italian and English is mandatoryAdditional Information
