Supply Chain Manager
This position is responsible for managing all functions within the supply chain for Leather goods, RTW, Lifestyle accessories, Footwear, Materials, Quality for all European manufacturing.
This role requires a candidate to interact with multiple cross-functional partners, as well as overseas offices and suppliers.
The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be extremely organized with clear communication skills.
Plans and directs all aspects of the organization's supply chain objectives and initiatives while supervising the daily operations to meet the designated KPIs. Key ResponsibilitiesManages all supply chain functions which may include, but are not limited to, production planning, materials procurement, direct and outsourcing, vendor control and selection. Ability to identify needed change and supports change management initiatives as rolled out organizationally to support business and company strategies. Directs all supply chain projects and daily operations to ensure they are on time and within budgetary controls. Lead and manage the entire development and production process for all product categories made in Italy, Europe. Works with operations demand planning, S&OP and scheduling to ensure the supply base can execute on forecasted demand and all required performance levels. Govern the Italy sourcing team in execution to accomplish designated goals. Works with other business stakeholders to find methods to improve customer experience with the right sourcing processes and platforms for production cost, material, and quality excellence. Focus on areas of improvement within the supply chain functions. Manage and assure KPIs are accomplished – on-time delivery, production defect rate, quality, technical engineering, cost, and MU. Lead and manage the Italy/European sourcing to ensure the right product and cost to boost the company's revenue and profit. Develop Italy and European suppliers/factories to achieve significant contributions to meet price, quality, margin, and on-time delivery. Provide final decisions regarding technical problems with sample development, quality, etc. Support Chief Supply Chain Officer in data, reports, and project execution with Italy and European country of origin. Carry out and support Corporate/Chief Supply Chain direction – planning, analysis, and strategy of Italy operations. Support Chief Supply Chain Officer in carrying out implementation and process streamlining within Italy and European supply chain operations to achieve maximum results. Obtain Italy factory "know-how" and achieve engineering excellence for MCM products. RequirementsUniversity degree is preferred. 10 or more years of experience leading supply chain management and manufacturing roles. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of fields' concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to identify needed change and support change management initiatives as rolled out organizationally to support business and company strategies. Must have strong analytical and communication skills. Strong planning skills and project management expertise. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy. Strategic planning and thinking, systems analysis, and evaluation. Complex problem-solving skills. Interpersonal skills. In-depth understanding of risk management within the supply chain of the company. Supply Chain Managers must also have several years of experience working with other departments to identify and resolve system and procedural weaknesses.
