Job Description:Supply Chain Manager Role Overview:Huntsman Corporation's Tecnoelastomeri site is searching for an experienced Supply Chain Manager. Site located in Cavazzona (Castelfranco Emilia, Modena) serves market globally as a strong PU hot-cast manufacturer. The Site has 3 production lines: chemicals (MDI prepolymers & formulated polyols), casting machines and molded parts. The Supply Chain Manager develops and continuously improves Strategic Supply Chain model and organization focusing on the following main areas: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Planning, Logistics and Site Warehousing.   Person in role works closely with other functions such as Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service and Sales to meet and support key business objectives and to drive value-based decision-making. Apply today!Role Responsibilities:As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:Ensuring that all activities in his/her responsibility are in compliance with regulatory and Huntsman EHS standards & procedures. Staying responsible for the procurement of raw materials, equipments, goods and services and for the overall management of the suppliers. Additional being able to  carry out the strategic procurement activity on different expenditure categories, search for solutions with the best total cost for the company and identify optimal suppliers to reach the best product and service quality. Keeping responsibilities for the Inventory management, ensuring implementation of the organization/process in place, inventory count and fulfilment of customer needs at optimal cost and working capital. Additional planning stock point replenishments based on sales forecasts and/or customer orders ensuring that inventory is optimized on a regular basis to drive continue reduction without impacting SC performance. Managing all the aspects of planning for the standard production so that products are always delivered on time and contributes to new business projects, both in the phase of indirect purchase and in the development of strategies for planning and purchasing new direct materials. Managing Logistic function (currently done by a third-party supplier) and Site warehousing ensuring smooth process between Manufacturing and Customer CareEnsuring Master Data accuracy, correctness and completenessImplementing and overseeing KPIs driving continuous improvement (e. g. : OTIF, inventory, slow-moving). Ensuring that all activities follow Huntsman Internal Audit procedures and standardsManaging direct reports to deliver appropriate execution of SC organization and career development planExperience and Competencies:We are looking for experienced candidates with excellent communication skills and a solution focused approach. What we are looking for:Finished successfully University Degree in Engineering or Economics (preferably)10 years working experience in Supply-Chain and +3 years in managerial roleFluency in Italian and English is a mustExcellent knowledge of bill of materials, working cycles and inventoryExcellent knowledge of ERP/MRP software and other IT tools (Office, etc. )Experience in supplier management and negotiationsExperience in logistic managementOverall good understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash-flow structureCapability to collect and analyze data to deliver KPI & ReportingGood understanding of technical and legal mattersStrong leadership, communication and ability to build network and influence people and multi-cultural teamsDecision-making and problem-solving capabilityOrganizational skillsWhat next?
