MISSION:
Responsible for delivery service, production plans, and inventory results for a group of manufactured materials Contract Manufacturers / Suppliers in Europe.
The Supply Chain Planner will interface with Demand Planners, Supply Planners, Purchasing, Portfolio, Contract Manufacturers, Customer Service, and Suppliers on a daily basis.
Plans and arranges own work to accomplish objectives manage complex problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop finished goods plans as per net demand requirements to support material sourcing, inventory, and customer supply, validate and share monthly production plan/forecast to Contract Manufacturer(s)/Suppliers including PO's
Manage Contract Manufacturers/Supplier execution to Purchase Order requested delivery date/quantity
Develop strong relationships with Contract Manufacturer(s), formalize working processes and KPIs
Anticipate and inform on any supply issues and build action plans to mitigate and work on medium-term capacity planning strategy with Contract Manufacturer(s)
Proactively communicate with customer service when availability issues arise that will impact order fulfillment, Conduct Root Cause Analysis for any plan misses, and implement an action plan to mitigate for future
Clear communication and transparency with all risks to the production plan
Collaborate with purchasing departments to ensure appropriate lead times and minimum order quantities are in effect
Manager overall stocks to meet inventory and service to customers goals
Works with Portfolio & Planning Manager to control phase in and out of products
QUALIFICATIONS:
Supply Chain Education, Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering is an advantage - recent graduates welcome
1-3 years of experience in a high-performance manufacturing or Supply Chain discipline
Detailed understanding of master production scheduling/planning and inventory management processes and systems (preferably SAP), good knowledge of MRP processes and systems (SAP)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, and team skills
Highly motivated, proactive, detail-oriented and seeks accuracy in work product
Capable of working in a fast-changing and multi-tasking environment.
Advanced in working with Microsoft, especially Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups)
Costs optimization orientated
Basic statistical knowledge
Know-how of manufacturing, and logistics/order fulfillment processes
Fluent in English (oral & written), additional European languages is a plus
