You will be part of an Engineering team that delivers branded communities for our healthcare clients and supports our internal application support needs. ResponsibilitiesSupport our Client Success Team as they serve our clients all over the worldWork with our designers to deliver branded online communities for our clients, and maintain them over timeTroubleshoot issues in our production environment, escalating to the on-call Engineer as neededSupport Engineering team with code reviews and collaborationGenerate ad hoc and regularly requested activity reports for clientsRun reports and scripts using our MySQL databaseEnhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvementRespond to tickets in a timely and professional mannerSupport our US designers by creating assets from provided mocksSupport our QA team by assisting to diagnose errors in the staging environmentHelp develop internal tools for manipulating dataUnderstand requests and how they translate in application featuresCollaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applicationsWrite high quality source code to program complete requestsTroubleshoot and debug applicationsConduct peer demo testingDevelop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and codeRequirementsAt least three (3) years of development experienceAt least three (3) years in a support roleStrong SCSS/CSS, Javascript, and HTML skillsStrong SQL experience (database is MySQL)Able to work flexible hours, long-term you may be supporting clients internationally (Hours will be 5am - 1pm EST)Preferred Skills:Liquid template experienceFull-stack and/or Ruby on Rails experienceExperience with asset/logo creation is a plusExperience in designing and building applicationsAbility to program in at least one programming language such as C#, Java (J2EE) etc. In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development toolsExcellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
