Offer Description The activity will include supporting the setup and running of the Bologna Spoke Demos, with particular reference to the Demo related to 3D Radio Networks. The demo will allow reproducing an outdoor industrial scenario, i. e. , a large factory, where different types of mobile devices will move to perform different tasks. The devices will be mounted or transported by the different moving objects and will have to maintain a good connection with the radio network to send/receive a large amount of data (i. e. , data generated by sensors, images, etc. ).

The activity will involve the study of radio resource management (RRM) algorithms for 6G networks and the development of firmware for their implementation on the OIA Box platform. The activity will also involve the setup of a testbed with a UAV that will carry a 5G Base Station, OAI Box MINI, and will allow connectivity to ground devices - UEs, AGVs, and vehicles. Line-of-sight and Non-line-of-sight connectivity tests will be performed.
