At the center of the investigation is the activity of a category that is still little known compared to other figures, with a desire to investigate the importance of the script in a system, like the Italian one, still strongly oriented on the creative centrality of the director. In the wake of a widespread practice in the field of production studies, the units will conduct a series of in-depth interviews with a sample of scriptwriters, along with interviews with producers, directors, story editors, and heads of the main script schools.
