DESCRIPTIONThe Shipping with Amazon (SWA) On The Road (OTR) manager is a pivotal role which maximises Operational efficiency and DSP experience.

Excellent at leveraging operational and stakeholder relationships, they are the custodian of DSP experience at station level ensuring the highest standards and creating a 'win-win' culture between Operations and the DSPs. Key job responsibilitiesWorking with OTR safety and site operations to deliver regional safety metricsLead OTR performance improvement across the region and provide RLT weekly visibility, including solutionsDeliver Regional WBR for on-road performance (DSP scorecard / Ops Scorecard) for the region. Leading improvement activities in key priority areas for the Region (e. G.

DA ratios, rostering performance, nursery compliance, DNR)Create sustainable business practices that create a 'win-win' culture between Operations and the DSPsEnsure a best in class DSPs' Driver experience and be the voice of the DSP across the RegionWorking with site operations, ACES and CO to ensure routing efficiency and best practice is followed to improve CPP. Own, deliver and execute the regional resourcing plansExecution of the SWA Ramp up and down planPlan Regional SWA network changes (PCD, mech changes, launches, process improvements)Coordinate SWA Programs, OTR ACES and OTR Safety projects across the sites. Partner with Senior Regional Manager and SWA Program Teams as key stakeholderA day in the lifeThe OTR manager defines the medium-term SWA OTR strategy, leading and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.

They take the lead for OTR capacity planning, OTR Ramp plans and work closely with capacity team, Business Coaches, OTR ACES, SWA Programs, OTR Safety and Community teams to implement best practice.

They work closely with site DSMs and Delivery Ops as a trusted OTR SME partner.

They are required to work flexibly and travel between multiple sites weekly, with five days per week spent in station.

The role is field-based aligned to up to 3 Last Mile Delivery Stations plus associated nodes which requires a significant level of travel. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSA degreeAdvanced proficiency in English and in the local languageRelevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environmentRelevant experience in using data analytics to solve problems such as customer, partner or business performance issuesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or distributionExperience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadershipA bachelor's, master's or advanced degree in business management, economics, law, engineering or supply chain and logisticsRelevant experience in account management in a fast-paced environmentAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
