**Your working context

- As part of the Italian development center, we're developing the technologies that allow to safely move people with trains.

- Our job is in collaboration with the other development centers of Alstom all over the world, with the target of allowing exchange of competencies and leveraging on the most relevant expertise.

- We're a multi-site development team composed by Program Managers, System Engineers, SW designers, HW engineers and Testers, focused on the on-time / on-quality delivery.

- We're looking for a System Architect for one of our sites in Firenze, Bologna, Roma or Bari with the target of reinforcing the System Engineering team.

**Your skills

- You are a team player with a sense of ownership and dedication to quality in everything you do.

- You take a structured approach to your work and have analytical skills that you have successfully applied to engineering tasks in the past.

- You have a passion for technology, having an experience of at least 2 years on System Design, SW development or Test activities.

- Preferably, you've a previous experience in the railway industry and specifically on ERTMS.

- You collaborate well with your peers and are open to share your work and expertise.

- You are curious to learn new things and challenge the status quo, if required.

- You communicate / write well in English and have a MSC Engineering in Electronics/Informatics/Telecommunication or equivalent.

**Your daily activities

- You will take the responsibility, from system design point of view, of one/more onboard products with a 360 visibility on the development cycle.

- You'll be part of the program development core team, being accountable for the on time / on quality completion of the system design activities.

- You'll be in charge of defining the requirements, the system architecture and the final user documentation, being ultimately responsible for the release of the system from a technical point of view, in line with the Alstom processes, methods and tools.

- You'll be in charge of defining the technical scope of work of the program overall leading the requirement management activities and the Change Control Board as chairman.

- You'll be in charge of evaluating the required workforce for accomplish the program objectives.
