What will you be doing in this role?

Investigate, define and resolve technical issuesAssist in designing requirements, analyzing associated risks, advising on technical solutionsInstall, operate, manage and maintain assigned CORE and Functional System software, Databases and other ApplicationsContribute to applications and data integrityProvide support to development of operations and exercises plans and to related local CIS Service provision during execution phaseAssist in implementing procedures, tools and techniques for monitoring and managing the performance of applications and provide reports as requiredContribute to advising on the capacity and scalability requirements of the assigned applicationAssist in the implementation of Business Area/CSU assigned project work packageContribute to implementation and control of Cyber Security policies and proceduresProvide advice and assistance to various personnel (technical and non-technical) in identifying software requirements for the different automated systems including security considerations in application development, implementation, operation and maintenanceSupport in performing risk assessments and in identifying potential risks that may ariseRequirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

A Bachelor's degree (or 3 years of higher education) in a related fieldProven experience in installing, configuring and administering Windows/Linux Server OS, Databases (SQL/Oracle), VMwareRelevant experience and sound knowledge of Cyber Security and NetworkingProven capability of converting evolving operational requirements into Information Systems requirementsProgramming or scripting for system administration and software deployment in particular using SCCM systemProviding advice and guidance on CIS strategies to manage identified risksGuiding assigned resources and ability in developing/working in a safe and productive environment where Technicians/Subject Matter Experts can work together to improve CIS service delivery, troubleshoot and solve complex issuesITIL Foundation certificationDesirable

Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
