We are currently looking to hire a System Engineer in our location in Rome, Italy.

In this role you will provide support to all projects for the Signalling Systems/Product used in the projects; both for wayside and indoor equipment, products including external interfaces.

Support some other systems in all their lifecycle phases:

development, realization, maintenance, and obsolescence. You will be involved in some activities related to manufacturing and production and offer technical solution definition for incoming bids

Responsabilities

- Definition of System and Sub-system Architectures (SAD) according to the Signalling Technical inputs and in relation to the customer requirements compliance (including all the interfaces)

- Customer Signalling technical requirements analysis and requirement management (e. g.

using specific tool as DOORS

- Signalling Subsystem design, including Use cases and Operationmodes

- Supervise the development (or adaptation) of new products release

- Provide support for Operational scenarios definition

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering (BS+MS) degree in Electronics, Electric or IT

- Experience in Railway Signalling is required

- Good knowledge in Requirement Management

- Good knowledge of Project Management practice

- At least 5 years of working experience in Signalling System with a focus on wayside signalling in Computer Based Interlocking and/or ETCS L1 - L2.

- HW and SW knowledge are required with at least 5 years in the (signalling) railway area regarding both wayside and signalling room products.

- Knowledge of the following norms is required:

EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 and EN 50159

- Be familiar with Quality and Product certification processes (e. g.

IRIS, ISO 9001, IPC, . . . )

- Good knowledge in the use of laboratory instrumentation and test methods
