System Engineer, Rome
RINA is currently recruiting for a System Engineer to join its office in NETHERLANDS, BELGIUM OR GERMANY within the Space & Defence Division.
Mission The resource will be hired in Italy and will travel across Europe.
Key Accountabilities Responsibilities and duties:
Define and maintain system documentation and baseline, including requirements, design and justification documents, installation, administration and user manuals, statement of compliances, test cases and procedures and other technical documents.
Support site surveys, site installations and provide on-site support.
Perform systems troubleshooting for the supported systems and internal support systems.
Support the integration and testing of the system configuration items as required.
Liaise with the customer and/or internal responsible service for problem resolution and provide second-line support as required.
Performance of other duties in the field of system engineering may be required.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Essential: A Master of Science (MSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in engineering.
Knowledge and experience in system engineering projects, preferably in the space and defence sector.
Knowledge of either space or defence methodologies and standards concerning system engineering.
Experience in COTS SW/HW integration.
Experience in system debugging and fault analysis.
Practical experience in creating system documentation and status reports.
Knowledge of applied computer security and monitoring techniques used for information assurance and confidentiality purposes.
Desirable: Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General
