As a System Engineer in Santena, you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies in electronics development, working in an international and multicultural environment.

Mission: The Automotive System Engineer is accountable for system, software, functional safety, and cyber deliverables to ensure the success of the project.

He/she is responsible for analyzing customer product requirements and allocating them to the respective subsystem, providing the acceptance.

He/she is also responsible for performing/supporting system validation and supporting issue analysis.

Responsibilities: Analyze and discuss customer requirements (SW, HW, Mechanical, Safety, and Cyber).

Manage system specifications.

Act as a facilitator and mediator for the system team and stakeholders, ensuring a common understanding of the system goals, system scope, requirements, and architecture.

Daily management of SW supplier tracking the SW implementation maturity.

Support verification & validation test team.

Support project request for quotation (Safety and Cyber Impact).

Daily management of all R&D contributors, dedicated or not.

Technical Skills: Vector tools (CanOe, CAPL coding, CanDb++).

Vector VT System (HIL Automated test bench).

Experience with Network bus: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and LVDS (nice to have).

Automotive diagnostics according to ISO.

ASPICE process.

Compliance matrix and document tracking list.

IBM Doors, Polarium, or similar requirements management tools.

Automotive Spice process standard.

Knowledge of functional safety (ISO).

Knowledge of cybersecurity.

Use of laboratory instruments such as multimeter, oscilloscope, and power supply.

Desired Skills and Experience: Experience: 3 to 5 years in similar roles in the automotive field.
