Description Client Solution Architects is looking for a System Integration Engineer in the Vicenza, Italy location. The System Integration Engineer supports the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of constructive simulations, virtual/gaming-based simulations, simulation workstation training, network and system administration on simulation networks, terrain modeling, multimedia development, and Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS). How Your Role Will Make an Impact: Provide system administration for constructive simulations and gaming models, including but not limited to maintaining Windows 10/11 workstations, Windows Server 2012R2/2019/2022, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/7/8/9 servers/workstations, including software updates, patches, and baselines. Work from specifications and installation documentation to develop or modify operating systems applications. Provide server administration of simulation systems in Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC-G) simulation architectures. Operate software in a distributed architecture in Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) environments. Responsible for technical operations, setup, and teardown of servers, systems, and integration tools; maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance; provide input to exercise design and technical planning products. Create constructive simulation and gaming simulation databases. Configure and manage Army Mission Command Systems (AMCS) to include; Data System (AFATDS), Effects Management Tool (EMT), Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS), Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A), Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P), Mounted Mission Command – Software (MMC-S), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), Global Command and Control System-Army (GCCS-A), Tactical Communications and Command System (TCCS), Command and Control Information Systems, such as Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), and Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS). Integrate simulation and Combat Training Center instrumentation systems. Support exercise and training event design, planning, preparation, and evaluation. Requirements What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team: Clearance: Must possess an active U. S. Secret Security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret w/SCI. Education: Bachelor's degree, OR; An Associate's degree plus 4 years of related experience, OR; A major IT certification plus 6 years of recent related experience, OR; 8 years of related experience. Possession of a valid CompTIA Security or higher Information Assurance certification as per Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 8140. 03 DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF). Outstanding work ethic and personal integrity. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to document and update processes. Ability to perform tasks under deadlines. Ability to work with senior Government and Industry leaders. Possess a very high degree of attention to detail. Capable of working at a computer terminal for extended periods. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for consecutive days up to 4 weeks. Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills. Must be able to travel to various locations throughout the USAREUR-AF Theater in Europe and Africa. What Sets You Apart: Experience in installation and configuration of current Windows or Linux operating systems. Experience creating all constructive, battle command interface, and gaming simulation databases in support of an exercise, event, or testing. Experience with United States Department of Defense (DoD) modeling and simulation defense programs. Experience configuring, operating, administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining one or more of the following simulations and communications software: Joint Land Component Commander Training Capability (JLCCTC) /Warfighter's Simulation (WARSIM) / WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM). Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS). Low Overhead Training System (LOTS). Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE). Experience in database creation for Joint Land Component Commander Training Capability (JLCCTC), Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS), Joint Deployment Logistics Model (JDLM), Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), etc. Experience administering Microsoft Enterprise Services to include Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) admin center, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Federation Service (AD FS), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint Administrator and Microsoft Exchange Server.
