Job Description:

As a System Quality and Reliability Assurance (SQRA) Managed NAND Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. , you will be responsible for the qualification of Managed NAND products, with a focus on UFS mNAND. This role involves analyzing both internal and customer requirements, developing qualification plans, analyzing qualification data, reviewing failing device analyses, supporting qualification program definitions, and collaborating with other engineering teams to identify root causes and develop new testing methodologies.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Manage New Product Qualification:

Define qualification plans.

Facilitate and manage qualification processes.

Analyze reliability data for product validation within specific internal and customer requirements.

Understand failures and failure rates within the scope of the qualification.

Perform risk assessments at all decision points within the qualification cycle.

Review Failure Analysis (FA) and coordinate root cause and corrective actions with other internal engineering groups

Provide Internal Managed NAND Qualification Communication and Technical Expertise to Internal/External Customers:

Publish weekly status updates to customers.

Collaborate with customers to develop custom test methods based on application usage models.

Communicate directly with customers as needed.

Review customer qualification specifications.

Provide risk assessments to customers.

Assess customer feedback and communicate it internally.

Develop Product Quality and Reliability Methodology:

Coordinate with research and development teams.

Understand new processes/technologies for product quality and reliability issues involving Managed NAND products.

Develop product reliability tests to assess new Managed NAND failure mechanisms.

Integrate Managed NAND quality and reliability requirements into component qualifications and development.

Drive Continuous Improvement and Feed Lessons Learned:

Actively participate in existing continuous improvement processes.

Gather appropriate information and share it with relevant teams.

Analyze failure pareto from qualification, monitor, RMA, and production to drive preventive actions and feed lessons learned.

Correlate quality metrics to other process/test metrics.

Internal Technical Support for RMA Material, Package, Monitor and Sustaining Activities:

Assist the Managed NAND RMA team with customer return failure analysis, risk assessment, root cause, and corrective action definition.

Provide input on known issues relative to customer failure signatures.

Understand field failure rates relative to internal failure rates.

Assist package and monitor teams with electrical failure analysis.

Assist Sustaining Activities on Automotive mNANDs with Trials definition/execution and following failure Analyses.

Help on Change Management activities (FW and Process) with their relevant owners.

Skills, competencies, attitudes:

Knowledge of electronic circuits.

Good multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural international team environment.

Good level both verbal and written English skills.

1-2 Years of experience in semiconductor world.

Desired Skills Include:

Be customer-oriented.

Ability to analyze problems, diagnose root cause, and apply corrective actions.

Knowledge of NAND Memory operation.

Education:

Bachelor/Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics or equivalent is required.
