System Specialist - Sys (In House)
Your Mission
Starting from the pre-installation phase, retrieves the information necessary in order to manage, follow and develop all the activities related to the instrumentation and within the post-sales processes.
Follow Corporate procedures and guidelines in order to contribute to the optimization of resources and in compliance with the requirement of other corporate departments
**Main Responsibilities
Your Contributions
- Carry out repairs, preventive maintenance, electrical checks and HW / SW updates of the instruments in the times and methods defined by the CSC Coordinator and according to the needs of the laboratories;
- Install and test the instruments in the Laboratories.
Uninstall and/or move the instruments after decontamination according to company procedures in the times and methods defined by the CSC Coordinator;
- Perform entire system installation and training, in accordance with company procedures, till the start-up of the routine
- Installation of methods/protocols, even for new kits, on the instrumentation
- Analyses overall performance of the instruments and the use of the correct laboratory procedures (calibrations, QC, maintenance)
- Technical support activities for the XLine system (automation);
- Take care of the integration and optimization of systems from an IT point of view (connections to hosts / middleware, Bomgar, basic configurations, reference values / normality and workflows);
- Keep updated the instrumentation in the lab according the latest technical solutions adopted (technical bulletins and technical notes);

You
Education
Master's Degree or High School Degree in Biomedical, Electronics, Engineering or equivalent
Specialization
A master in biomedical matter is a plus
Experience
Technical Competencies
- Knowledge and skill in preventative maintenance in installing, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining medical diagnostic or clinical laboratory instrumentation
- Knowledge and understanding of electronics, medical terminology, chemistry, and physics
- Knowledge and understanding of basic immunology and immunoassay technology
- Ability to demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment
- Seasoned experience using Microsoft Power Point, Work and Excel
- Very good knowledge of Windows 2000/Windows XP/Windows 7
