We look forward to meeting you. HII- Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support our customer, US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), with the implementation of Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) systems at Aviano Air Base, Italy.

The Systems Engineer will work closely with customers and staff in support of USAFE to obtain RMF compliance and system authorization for all JADC2 systems developed and/or implemented.

Qualified applicants will have a background in IT configuration and change management, STIG requirements and tools, and support for a wide range of common technical platforms.

The successful applicant will be comfortable supporting Windows and RHEL systems as well as basic Firewall and VPN management.

The Systems Engineer will implement both real-world systems and run a basic lab environment and will provide remote support to fielded systems as necessary. What You Will DoPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. What We Are Looking For5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Master's in related field; 0 years experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Experience administering Windows and RHEL environments. Working knowledge of Cisco switch configuration. Working knowledge of firewalls and routers. Strong grasp of DoD STIG requirements and ability to generate STIG compliance reports. Willingness to deploy within the USAFE AOR in support of the system. Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Preferred: Bonus Points For. . . 3+ years' experience with DoD Command and Control (C2) systems. Current IAT Level III-approved certification. Physical RequirementsOffice, industrial, or shipboard environment.

Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
