Systems Security Administrator

Information Technology (IT)Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)Electronic Health Records (EHR)Position Summary: The Systems Security Administrator is responsible for configuring, managing, and administering information systems within BRIDGE and customer environments while supporting the data security and regulatory compliance objectives of BRIDGE and its customers.
Reporting to the Security and Compliance Officer, the Systems Security Administrator is responsible for working with multiple clients across the United States and is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, providing clear and concise documentation, completing projects on time and on budget, and working with remote hand teams to act as the eyes and ears for projects.
To be successful in this role, the Systems Security Administrator will need to demonstrate a strong combination of technical knowledge and skills directly related to the job function.
The ideal candidate must show reliability, a commitment to delivering high quality work on time and the ability to work under little supervision.
This role requires alignment with BRIDGE's mission and goals, including being innovative, detail-oriented, and the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities Configure and "tune" security monitoring and event management systems to produce actionable data for S&C and IT staff, monitor alerts from these systems. Configure and monitor endpoint threat protection, detection, and response technologies. Configure, conduct, and analyze findings from vulnerability scans. Implement and execute prioritized vulnerability remediation plans, validate results. Configure and administer identity and access management systems, multifactor authentication, single sign-on, and access control lists. Configure and administer mobile device management and encryption technologies to protect data at rest and in transit. Identify, implement, and administer security best practice configurations for on-premises information systems and cloud computing environments including but not limited to: Windows Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and private cloud/virtualization technologies. Produce and analyze reports pertaining to system configurations and data protection. Produce and maintain process documentation, standards, and guidelines. Respond to service tickets escalated to the S&C team. Respond to incidents independently or in collaboration with managed security service providers. Locate, analyze, and preserve evidence in response to reported suspicious or malicious incidents. Collaborate with IT Operations, Applications, and Support teams on systems- and network-related projects. Education and Work Experience Requirements Associate or bachelor's degree preferably in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field. 2+ years' work experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field. Cybersecurity or information technology industry certifications. Proven experience in network security, systems administration, and security best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities A clear understanding of secure design principles such as the "principle of least privilege", minimum necessary access, role-based access, discretionary access, OS/system hardening, and minimizing a network's attack surface. Familiarity with Active Directory design and interoperability concepts including Organizational Units, Group Policies, various types of Active Directory groups (security, mail-enabled security, global, domain local, etc…) and the use cases for each type, domain trusts, federation, Active Directory-integrated DNS, and access control lists. A solid understanding of common network protocols and what they're used for: ICMP, IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, (S)FTP, DNS, SMTP, SMB, SNMP, LDAP(S), SSH, SSL/TLS, RDP, Kerberos, NetBIOS. Familiarity with administration of applications and settings within Microsoft 365. Understanding of identity management and associated protocols and concepts (SAML, MFA, SSO). Excellent communication skills. The ability to effectively collaborate and report on projects. A commitment to providing superior customer service and customer satisfaction for organization, its clients, and partnered vendors. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Very strong analytical and organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet objectives with little to no direct supervision. High degree of professionalism and integrity.
