Position Summary:The Tactical Project Buyer will serve as a Procurement Business Partner, working under the guidance of the Category Sourcing Manager's strategic plans. The role involves capturing requirements, identifying opportunities, and collaborating intensively with internal customers and Procurement colleagues to deliver value efficiently and in full compliance with Procurement Policy. The Tactical Project Buyer will engage in competitive bidding for projects, which may involve complex processes due to unclear specifications and business pressures.

Key Accountabilities:Procure local vs transversal projects. Manage stakeholder relationships. Oversee Sourcing to Contract activities. Cover categories. Ensure compliance with national legislation, ESG standards, and Procurement Policy. Manage complaints and handle claims constructively. Provide operational support and solve critical procurement problems as needed. Internal Networking/Key Relationships:Head of Sourcing & ProcurementCategory Sourcing ManagersProject ManagersBusiness LinesFinance and other affiliatesMinimum Knowledge & Experience Required:Education: At least a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent through experience) in a related field, preferably with procurement-specific education. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven buying experience in the same field. Additional Skills/Knowledge:Strong time management and result-driven approach in a fast-paced environment. Proven analytical skills and ability to synthesize information coherently. Ability to manage multiple projects successfully. Holistic view on projects. Lead by example with efficiency and flexibility. Customer-focused and a team player. Robust personality capable of thriving in a commercial environment. Knowledge of Business Intelligence software and ERP modules (e. g. , SAP/Ariba, Venice) is a plus. Knowledge of the IT sector. Languages:DutchFrenchEnglishTravel Requirements:Limited to Belgium
