What we offer**:

**Dematic **is looking for a talented **Tactical Buyer - Direct Materials **to be hired with a **temporary contract of 1 year **, for its premises in **Cernusco Sul Naviglio **.

He/She will report to the **Procurement Manager Italy **and will be responsible for supporting procurement activities and objectives within a factory environment.

He/she should be methodical in developing action plans, managing on-site deliveries to our various projects, and interacting with our suppliers and internal customers.

We are looking for someone who can pivot quickly and strives for continuous improvement.

**W **hat You Will do in This Role**:

- Arranges timely delivery of supplies and materials and expedites as necessary.

Effectively manage supply programs to meet lead times, as well as delivery dates for projects.

- Procure and manage material to meet quality, delivery, inventory and price targets (use SAP).

- Own daily working relationships with suppliers, category leaders and project leaders within the Project Procurement Team.

- Effectively communicate with and engage all levels of the organization as well as key suppliers and customers.

- Assess demand and place purchase orders for Project purchases, which are third party supplier material that is not part of a Bill of Material.

Review incoming orders, verify ship dates, and communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery dates.

- Maintain material master data on assigned part numbers in SAP.

- Act as the point of contact with suppliers.

- Support supplier quality and supplier development activities, including monitoring and improving delivery reliability and lead time reduction.

- Support escalation process with suppliers based on scorecards, etc.

- Resolve semi-complex delivery, quality or other related problems with invoices or purchases.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:

**What We are Looking For**:

- Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business or Diploma

- Demonstrates good grasp of knowledge of the field.

- 2 to 5 years of experience in similar role

- Purchasing experience is preferred.

- Knowledge of SAP

- Ability to communicate and build relationships both internally, across all functional organization and externally with supplies and customers.

- Good knowledge of Italian and English languages
